basically lm planning on going away over christmas, and have been looking for a service that will cut down the price lm going to have to pay to get up to Sunderland to stay with friends, this site pretty much halves what l would expect to pay through something like the trainline.com.

so l was wondering how legitimate the site was and if others had used it before l hand my money over.

I've not heard of that site before, although it actually came out as being a little bit more expensive than Trainline for a test I did from Poole to Glasgow Central. However the results appear to be correct and it seems to be a legitimate service, which has more flexibility in its searching. I suspect it's still cheaper though to buy a ticket for every stop on your route, but the only problem with that is the mass of cards you have to carry around :) .

Well from mine to sunderland via the trainline works out to 137, same stops etc yet via the above site takes that down by over 60!!

lm guessing Money Savings Expert? thats where the name leads me on google, kinda funny tho l asked there and so far no ones given me a straight answer lol.

any chance you could link me, lm curious to read any articles that he mentioned it in.

anyone know of app to help me plan my upcoming journey better? basically when l booked through the trainline before it gave me pretty much told me exactly what platforms l needed to be at and when l had to catch my connections.

essentially lm looking for that kind of capability and the ability to save my journey, because its a pain using the trainline app to lookup if you havent booked through them. the plan is to simplify my trip so much so that l dont need to waste time visiting customer services to find out where l need to be.

I've been looking for the same thing myself timeless, but almost all of them seem to just use the linear national rail database when pulling information. I've not been able to find anything more dynamic.

with all the profit train companies make its annoying they dont try and give us our monies worth.
