adeys I know there are issues with the move to ISPconnect and this will be sorted once customers move to new packages and the 21cn enabled exchange customers move over to the 21cn network. If you are unwilling to wait then ask for mac andf leave there is no long contract like with BT, AOL, Tiscali or Virgin Media there is no charge to leave it is free.

I have seen all the emails that have been sent out Aquiss has hidden nothing from any customer, they have been totally open so it is upto you are you willing to wait?
Is your exchange listed here http://www.samknows.com/broadband/btwbc-league.php
All the Scottish WBC enabled exchanges:
Aberdeen Kincorth 15/02/2009 Aberdeen Scotland

Bridgeton 30/04/2008 Glasgow City Scotland
Cumbernauld 15/02/2009 North Lanarkshire Scotland

Inverness Macdhui 15/02/2009 Highland Scotland
Langside 30/04/2008 Glasgow City Scotland
Leith 30/04/2008 Edinburgh City Scotland
Livingston Station 15/02/2009 West Lothian Scotland
Musselburgh 30/04/2008 East Lothian Scotland
Newington 30/04/2008 Edinburgh City Scotland
Paisley 30/04/2008 Renfrewshire Scotland
Pollok 30/04/2008 Glasgow City Scotland
Scotstoun 30/04/2008 Glasgow City Scotland
Waverley 30/04/2008 Edinburgh City Scotland
Western 30/04/2008 Glasgow City Scotland

Remember edinburgh node is not the same as the 21cn nodes it is a special node for ISPconnect allowing 20cn customers access to 21cn network. So as the biling date arrives after 30th March there will be a lot of people moving over to the upto 24meg packages in scotland.

Morning adeys,

I'm slightly baffled here, I'm not really sure what your major is, though I presume it's because your getting 2Mbps during the first couple of hours of off-peak, where we allow a customer a large allowance??

A number of staff have replied to you via our tickets, our forums and myself here, all confirming the same thing that your slow tests are done shortly after off-peak starts, and where customers queue up there downloads and contention shared across customers starts.

Upon joining us the package you signed up we clearly displayed the times peak and off-peak start, nothing has been hidden from you. As kits has pointed out, we also recently been keeping customers in the loop of package changes, both for the rollout introduction of 24 meg products but also to take into account largescale BT Wholesale increases.

We publish real-time network stats of the network, which can be found: http://support.aquiss.net/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=53

You need to work out what you want from an ISP. Fast speeds 24/7, big monthly allowances, cheap/expensive prices etc as how an ISP has used wholesale costs will determine the model they have taken. If our approach is different from your personal needs, then i doubt we would be the perfect ISP for you at this time.
