Are Downloads Capped

I am thinking of moving from NDO now that most of their cheaper products are capped at 5gb per month.. I am thinking about Plusnet Premier, is this product capped? I have looked on their Web Site but cannot see any reference to capping, lots of other information though. If the service is good and the speeds OK then the price doesn't look too bad.

PlusNet doesn't have caps. However, on some of their packages they throttle certain services (P2P mainly), but the Premier package doesn't have this restriction.

A very happy Plusnet customer here :)

My partner (NDO) and I (Nildram) both moved to Zen Internet as both NDO and Nildram have caps that are beginning to border on what is draconian in this day and age.
Zen = no caps, no restrictions + no NAGGING about using too much BW!
A bit dearer than most, but you do get what you pay for: Service.

PlusNet now 'shape' P2P traffic on its premier account. As per normal they didn't tell anyone prior to doing it.

Well I have given notice to NDO ready to move to PlusNet, but after all the bad publicity this week I am beginning t have second thoughts. So where now do I find a decent, non-virtual, ISP with no caps and a reasonable price? All the usual options of the past, Pipex, Nildram, NDO and now PlusNet all appear to be getting bad reports recently.

What about Zen? They're not the cheapest, but I've yet to hear a bad word said against them!

Im with zen on a 2 meg line and i cant say a bad word about them, just run a speed test for you through BT and bear in mind this is with some traffic going through my router (namely a RDP session and IRC) i got 1766 kilo bits per second (Kbps) which isnt to bad for a friday night at peak times.

Thanks Unicast, I have been thinking about them, but it is the price putting me off at the moment.
I know it's an old cliche, but with ISPs you really do get what you pay for.

Some Minus Net customers paid for being able to ask questions and get some answers, but they did not get what they paid for, they got chucked out of PN for it.

Be very carefull if you go near this lot.

You need to be more than desperate to sign up to this bunch, and they do have caps, but they don't call them that and they keep moving the goal posts on this and if you get an email from them then you can be in real trouble. Stay away, don't try and buck the trend, many are leaving, I shall join them soon.
