I'll keep checking though not been at home much.
I'd placed my order about a minute after the email came throughWell the million dolla question answered itself…..
I'd placed my order about a minute after the email came throughNext after placing your order if you've got an install date of say 1+ weeks away keep periodically checking the "change your appointment" bit on your account to try and find an earlier date/cancellation. That's what I did and I managed to get an install 3 days later.
Oh lucky you. So envious...
You can count down the days now.
Did you go for a fixed ip? Do think the £8 is a bit steep a month.
But at £33 it still beats anything else I can potentially see for the speed increase.
Even my Sky broadband 75/20 Mbps now, even though I'm now out of contract is looking a tad expensive at £34 discounted.
I was not going to get a fixed ip, as I have moved my cameras with the dlink service onto cloud. But the cloud prices now are getting steeper a month, so might as well go back to the cctv ip camera setup I had before and run them Myself again via my PC server, works out cheaper than paying for cloud.
I did try the free cloudfare 'port forwarding' method (still having to pay yearly for a domain) and trialled it for a few months with a spare domain I have.
But its a bit hit and miss at times and they restrict its upload too at times (unless you pay), plus its not good at adding other users or situations easily for a quick view.
My friend in Fareham that went live a few weeks back changed their installation date that they first booked, by calling Toob, from the original few weeks wait to 4 days wait.
Just used live chat, said it be another 6 months, what a **** take
I got a responce on twitter, if that's the case I've seen. O planning permission for it nor anyone complaining about pole going upThat can’t be right Ash, the live network is on your street. I would try calling them tomorrow and explain the map shows you are live but you can’t order. Might be an issue with your address not being flagged correctly on their database.

Unless there is no room this is what they should use, they trenched all the way to the corner of the petrol station by you. Seems odd to get that close and then fail at the last 100 meters or so.We had new power pole put up outside neighbour, as it had fire on top of it a few years ago, which supply's electricity to us and neighbour, and open reach connections
That’s super frustrating, but don’t you have poles all down your road already?
Toob don’t require planning for poles, they have permitted development rights to installl them, but they don’t also want to pee off the locals, unfortunately a lot of people in Thornhill moaned about the poles so Toob removed them, this is why Thornhill has such little coverage and have been in build for 2 years.
What is also not helpful is residents who create and distribute false information like this beautiful example.![]()
You'll be waiting sometime then lolWell today my luck ran out, Toob came round to rod the ducts, so from the nearest openreach chamber to my property, basically the route my copper phone line takes underground. Unfortunately there is a blocked duct in the road right before the duct goes to my property. Installation on hold until Openreach remove the blockage![]()
