A few days ago the broadband failed with "ADSL Link Down"; once it was back a few hours later the resync and speed was all over the place for 12 hours and then it settled down. However, there has been an increase in attenuation and a reduction in downstream power. The router statistics are below for "before" and "after". I would be grateful for any insight into the possible reasons. Suffice to say, all hardware, wiring, configuration etc. is unchanged. Many thanks.
Before the fault:
Downstream Attenuation: 50.0 dB Downstream Power: 19.6 dBm
Upstream Attenuation: 25.0 dB Upstream Power: 12.5 dBm
After the fault:
Downstream Attenuation: 54.0 dB Downstream Power: 0.0 dBm
Upstream Attenuation: 25.1 dB Upstream Power: 10.6 dBm
Thank you.
