Austrian MNVO Spusu launches in the UK

Up and sorted within 40 mins.

No 4G calling or WiFi calling. 4G calling does work actually now it’s on.

Speeds ok, high ping around 90.

Asked me to install a profile to get apn sorted, removed it and still working fine.

Responsive WhatsApp support.

Will be cancelling as not needed but it’ll be outside the first month.

Shows LTE not 4G.

Wow, that didn't take you long to try out :ROFLMAO:

I'm wondering if it's worth moving some family members who frequently call back to Irish mobile numbers over to this, trying to find more details on the free EU calls included (which EE charge £10/mo for), if they have a reasonable amount of minutes this is going to be a very solid choice for a lot of people, considering it also includes EU roaming

This means they'd pay less at spusu for Unlimited data + EU Calls & Roaming than for 100GB on EE directly (£13.50/mo + £10/mo for intl calls)

Their £14.90 30GB plan that isn't set to go up is going to be a huge competitor to SMARTY's £10 30GB plan, £4.90 more for the EE Network and free EU minutes is a great deal

500mins to EU AFAIK

500mins to EU AFAIK
really not bad, EE's price has actually gone up from £10 to £13.03

is it standard place for EU mobile operators to offer free intl calls then? obviously not too much of a common thing here

  • 500 international minutes for just £13.03 a month - that's 2.6p a minute

I’m considering switching to them. I’ve wanted to see what it’s like to live with EE but it would mean I’d be giving up Three’s excellent 5G network in return. Also if I recall… EE was very poor at my work and danced between 4G and 5G increasing my battery life.

EU roaming is a must for me also. Making this very attractive.

FYI (some/all?) traffic seems to be being routed via Austria at the moment, so latency to UK isn't the greatest...
That could be good news in a round about way, if their arrangement with EE is to Route Thier Own Data Gateway (bit like Virgin Mobile used to do when on the EE Network) this could possibly be that that are not tied down to EEs Own FUP Data Use and FUP Speed Capping. Example, when Virgin where offering UL Data Use on EE Network it had a FUP Data Use of 2TB per month (2048GB) and whilst it also had the usual No Tethering or SIM in Router Use it was never enforced.

Come on Carl, time to rev the bo11ocks off that data - you should be able to download 2TB overnight 😄:

Using the correct APN Settings?, are you using EEs everywhere blah blah.
None!

All the boxes are blank.

When first activating it asked me to install a network profile, but the apn etc is blank, nothing written in any of it, but it works. I have deleted the network profile also.

Connectivity is seamless though, 120/20 ish.

90ms latency on pretty much every test.

It needs something, bear minimum the APN Name (forget about User and Passwords) otherwise it will use a default profile if your Device Vs SIM has them stored (most Devices do these days), so what happens on the Data usage if you use EEs APN or have they supplied you with a different APN to use
