Availability check... "Please enter your details"

Looking in an area where Netomnia has been building (CBTs are on poles etc), if one enters a postcode and address in the YouFibre or Netomnia availbility checkers (both seem to be fed by the same backend) and then receives the message...

...does this suggest the network is not yet live in that street?

Unfortunately, instead of simply confirming/denying their availability - YouFibre have decided to mine your data first.

"Youfiber is planned" on my road, so am i looking at 2-3 years??? Hovering over "netomnia" on roadwork providers doesn't seem to do anything.

Zoom out and look for the glowing colour if you’re after their roadworks.
But keep in mind that a lot of networks use Openreach’s PIA so may not even show up on the map.

The “planned” result is about the same as you’d get from their website too. If you want more details you’re going to need to get in touch with them. Try social media, Netomnia are pretty good there.

You can also try to work out how far they are from you with live premises. That could help guess timelines (feel free to DM me a postcode if you want your local area updated on bidb)

If it helps they're actively rolling out the other side of my village, and there's very little roadworks notification because a lot of fibre run is ducted in pathways (so no road closure required).

Timing will be how long is a piece of string. Only they can answer but if its a clean deploy it shouldn't be too bad.

I've noticed if it's planned on BIDB it tends to be in build stage and should be live fairly soon.
This is based on my experience tracking it around my way

I still waiting... . Started to build 2021. (PE13). Signed contract summer 2021. Cables are in poles, but nothing... .
At least half of town can get, but for me, just promises.
