Dear ISPreviews,
Thought I would just post a story about my 6 month wait for a MAC code, having been transferred to 186k from e7broadband.
Main points of annoyance:
1) Having to usually wait 1 hour to speak to anyone in India about your customer services.
2) Being constantly lied to by the customer support staff, on 3 occasions they said they had ordered my MAC code, on calling them back a week later, another agent says, no MAC code has been ordered.
3) Total unhelpfulness of the support staff - they are quite happy to simply ignore your questions, and not help you in the slightest.
4) No contact available in the UK
5) Despite writing 2 formal complaint letters to their head offices in Leeds, received no response 2 months after the first letter.
6) No Accounts published in Companies House - indication of a pourly run company
All I can say is AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Hope this prevents at least someone from suffering the 6 months of pain, I have suffered.....
I now have the case being dealt with by OFCOM, as this is the last resort open to me, I hope to have this resolved in the next 5 days....
