Best 5G Router for Three

Hey folks,
Hope you’re all well and staying safe :)
I’ve been contemplating scrapping our Virgin broadband and getting a 5G router with a Three SIM in it. My other half just got a 5G capable iPhone, and we’re quite impressed with the speeds we get at home.
My question is, which 5G router does everyone recommend and where do you normally get them?
I’ll be getting it SIM free as I already have an unlimited data contract SIM I can use with it.
Potentially in the future I might be mounting it in the loft, maybe with an external antenna if required. Depends what the 5G signal is like next to my UniFi gateway (and if I can be bothered to router another Cat6a cable down the front of the house!!).

Thanks in advance, and Happy Friday!!

dan b its cheaper to go an get the £21 24 month contract..
The routers are super expensive effectively the all inclusive 5g sim £16 so you get the router for £5 a month..........24 month contract costs £504 how much is a router ????

Mikrotik Chateau 5G, from Wifi Stock, and in stock:
Hi meritez, thanks for the suggestion. Not used any MicroTik gear before, would it play nice with my UniFi network? Can it be put into modem only mode? Cheers.

Yeah I know what you're saying. But I already have the sim available. Having a quick look on eBay and the Huawei is around £200-£400.

It can be put into bridge mode, the 5g modem is provided on an m.2 card so is also user upgradable if required.

Internal modem wiring is pictured over on confused bird if you want to run external antennas etc: https://confusedbird.com/thread-119.html
