best isp for multiplay

I was wondering if any body can advise the best isp out there for online gaming both ping and lag wise.I've tried them all demon,freeserve,fast24,AOL(lol),sniffout and tho i get decent pings 50-100 on demon,freeserve,fast24 they rarely stay around the 50 mark mostly in the 70-100 range.I'm not looking to get something without paying for it(within reason anyways)would be prepared to pay £30-£35 a month for unmetered isp.with at least a 250 hour usage per month limit.I guess i'm just lookin for the holy grail of online gaming isp's.But if i look long enough and hard enough there most be an isp out there somewhere that suits my needs.I'm not looking for a bob a job one thats cheap and great then turns to cr*p i'm looking for a well establised one where you get what you pay for.ANY help would be welcome.

Well, as you say ... you have tried them all :(

You can take a look at Jolts dial-up but I'd take a look in their forums first. I had Jolt Anyping sometime ago ... I could never log in with it ... always engaged :(

Jolt have a new dial-up package now, 4 hour cut-off and stuff ... it looked expensive (£25'ish a month) I don’t know how good it is though. Maybe someone else can enlighten us as to how good it is.

Maybe there is something you can do with your hardware to help!

btw ... I'm on a 56K connection with AOL and Freeserve (1 month free) ... both are very good for me.

Have you tried Games World Net yet?

(I haven't, but would be interested in hearing an opinion)

They look to be expensive, but if the service is as good as they make it out to be, it could be worth it.

I used to get fairly good pings with Clara, but for me (personal opinion) F24 have been coming up with some stupidly low ping times on UT and Q3TA servers recently (low 50's).

Not a lot of help, I know, but will follow your topic to see what comes out of it. <img border="0" alt="[Nod]" title="" src="graemlins/nod.gif" />

I'm pretty sure Gamesworld just use Intensive re-packaged. I have tried Intensive after hearing good reviews, all I can say is that they suck big time for games..

Freeserve give a nice ping using their old non-friaco number, truth is though ISDN is obsolete and newer games are pushing it to the limits :(

!*&? BT !*&? RANT RANT RANT!! <img border="0" alt="[Hrmph]" title="" src="graemlins/hrmph.gif" />

yup isdn is obsolete but seen as bt have shafted us again we all have to make do with a our lot.
