Best SIM deal for unlimited data preferably using VF network

Morning, drawing on people's experiences to find best deal. Looking for unlimited data sim.
My iPhone 12 is out of contract shortly. Given the cost of living. That the 12 is still pretty decent phone - the 13 and 14 haven't moved on that far - certainly not enough to justify the price increase - especially what I use my phone for - am thinking sticking with it and getting a SIM deal.

Networks near me are pretty good. EE who I am currently on, have enough masts that 4G+ is 100Mbps+. VF 4G is ok 40Mbps, but we've not long had a 5G mast installed. I have tried Lebara SIM (now in router at girlfriends) and got speeds of 200 to 300Mbps. 3 4G is about same as VF 4G. O2 is 20 Mbps max.
Network near the girlfriened. Coverage is pretty poor. Usually just B20. So EE or VF. Are only options. o2 maybe. 3 def not.
I am considering getting another Lebara sim to be on VF with 30 day rolling contract. Just interest if people aware of any offers? When I got first Lebara sim was 1/2 price for first 3 months for instance. Thanks in advance

Unlimited on Voda and EE generally cost around £30.

You can get Voda cheaper by cashback down to £18ish. Watch out some cheaper packages have speed caps at 2 and 10 Mbps.

Also, EE have three speed tiers 25, 100, fastest available.

Offers online and at stores vary daily. Watch out for managers deals at a store where the motivation is commission.

Lebara £22.50 for unlimited on 12m plan on their website. Might be worth checking money saving expert too to see if there's any discounts to be had.

Vodafone unlimited is £25pm direct.

In a months time Im about to give up a Unlimited Data VM Sim (O2) as its near its contract end, which may be of interest to you, think I pay around 22quid pm.

I just signed up via e2save, a currys company. Got 200gb of data for £9.59 a month after cashback! Vodafone sim, they do a better deal on the unlimited data offerings than going to VF direct.

There's a Lebara uswitch offer that's still active. £10/mo for the first 3 months, then the usual £25 after. You can ignore the "30GB 5G data" part, it's a misprint.

If you only care about data, buy another, and switch sims and activate the second 3 months after.

Can you explain this for a simpleton please.

"If you only care about data, buy another, and switch sims and activate the second 3 months after."

Thanks but I am not sure about how many sims you need.

You buy two. One you activate immediately. The second you activate after three months. What do you do at the end of month six - reactivate the original one at £10, or consider another provider?

Or do you buy more than two?

If you're frugal like me, see what's available and weigh up the options again. If the same offer's on (Lebara pretty much always have a 3+ months for 50% off offer available somewhere), then buy some new SIMs, if not then find the best deal or switch to a different provider. Unfortunately you can only buy 3 months in advance, as that's when the Lebara SIMs expire if unactivated.

As @yolosnail pointed out, you can't (easily) transfer your number over, so it's for data use only - unless you're okay with having a new number every 3 months. No issue for me as I pop them in a router for broadband.

If you like EE - Start a new number on EE using a brand new fresh unlimited data contract on a new number. even if they're not advertising one, phone up, they'll still have one.
Tell them about your existing phone number and get the new line added to the same login.

Wait a few days and call them to swap the numbers over. Wait another day or two unless all sorted, then call back up and cancel your old line.

I'm not sure whether referral links are allowed on this forum, but it's worth mentioning that Lebara have returned the 6 month half-price offer when following a referral (so 6 months at £12.50/mo for unlimited on a 30 day rolling contract).

Here's my link, but feel free for a mod to delete or someone else to post theirs.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but can you take the Lebara deal for £12.50 and the cancel at the end of month six?
