To update this .. I went with what I know. I got the Lebara SIM for 3 months (not 6) of 50% of so £12.50 a month. Working well so far.
At mine. Better coverage when I go into the centre of the village - certain buildings, shops, etc. Speeds similar to what I was getting on EE on 4G and now have 5G. Typically speeds on 4G are better than 5G. When 5G is fast it's a lot faster than 4G. So unsurprisingly better 4G coverage I think is what is happening there?
At girlfriends (rural location) data stopped working. I believe it is a mast issue. Why I say this, is when checked the router on 4G at same location on directional antenna with Lebara SIM. No Band 20 at all (usually the strongest signal). Was CA / 4G+ on Bands 1 and 7. When normally on CA is Bands 3 and 20 or 7 and 20.
