Hi,
I've just had 3GB service installed (work pay for my internet service, so I don't see any harm!) - upgrading from Talk Talk 900MB.
They've given me a 'Technicolor FGA5330CFL' router, which, on its own, seems to be delivering good speeds. However, it doesn't quite reach one of our studies - no signal by the time you get there. My previous solution was a mesh of 3 x Eero Pro 6 routers. This delivered an acceptable network through the house, but they only have 1 x ethernet ports per box. In the box where this makes sense, I'm using the port for a smart home bridge. I want to hard wire both my TV and a PS5 - and potentially run cable through to one of the studies in the future. The Technicolor box would enable this, but the range isn't quite good enough.
Are there any options to run the technicolor router as a mesh? If not, what's the best solution? Buy a cheap switch for the eero box?
