Biscit Emails

Has anyone else lost all their saved emails/folders/address books since this shower tooks over. Apparently they are lost forever.

Yes my emails did go astray. It would not have been such a hard pill to swallow if only v21/Biscit had been upfront and honest about their demise. I've taken up the ezeeDSL offer for 3 months £74.96 adjustable by merchant. Seems another setup to me?

Did they ever confirm with you that everything was lost? It appears to have happened to anyone who had to change their password if their v21 password was too long for them to cope with. I am so angry that we weren't warned about this possibility as all the emails and addresses were important to me and can't be replaced.

I lost all my "v21.me.uk" and "members.v21.co.uk" connections (couldnt send or receive)..!!
But I did manage to get through to an engineer on their customer support line last friday 10th November and after several tries using various passwords we managed to get all my "v21.me.uk" e-mail addresses working...... the server seemed very "Ify" about what it would accept

However I still connot "send" using my "members.v21.co.uk" adresses......... although I can receive ok.

I dont know at this stage if Ive lost some e-mails!!

I find trying to log into v21 members takes forever..... and I still cannot access some websites such as www.iii.co.uk

Do I take it by that, that you kept all of the "saved emails/folders/address books" online?
Did you never think of keeping them on your own computer, within your own mail client perhaps or copied into a desktop folder?
I know if something was that important to me, it would be in a place where an internet connection wasn't needed to access it.
Th Biscit /V21 debacle is bad enough but I don't think you can blame it for your own lack of vision....be fair.:)

Hi Wrote a letter to So Called Biscit to ask for my money back and to Cancel my service. (Also Adviced by Biscit Customer Service Once) The address i used was from their website back in Sep-October was no 9 Hale Lane London NW7 3NU, Which now i found out is a estate agent. Went on to their website again guess what the address has changed again to Berkeley House
