I've posted this on the Bethere forums also. My line was activated by Be* last Tuesday 3rd so obvioulsy Biscit ceased my line or whatever you call it on the same day. All was well nice fast adsl2+ connection from Be* until Saturday 1.30pm when my phone line (voice) went dead for 20 mins or so, when it came back my connection to Be* was dead and has been since. I am told YC /thus ceased my line at this time so why should this affect my connection to be* and why did they do a cease AGAIN ?

A cock up somewhere? It was my understanding that once a line is tagged by a provider, it can in no way, shape or form be touched by another provider, even BT can't touch it without a request from the provider who has a tag on it. Am I wrong here?

B.T initiated a cease on all Biscit (standard B.T. infrastructure) broadband lines that didn't have an active migration in place ,on the 2nd April .
If we are not mistaken, if available to you, Be* use LLU, in other words ,they use their own equipment in the B.T. exchanges. So your active broadband shouldn't be affected by any cease .A cease on Broadband should not affect your voice line. Perhaps this problem is coincidental and you are a victim of B.T. carrying out maintenance in your local exchange and getting it slightly wrong. You wouldn't be the first!

OK I think the latter explanation you give is the case and hopefully I should be up and running later tomorrow, damn well hope so anyway. BT wholesale said 'routing' took place on Saturday not sure what this means but something to do with going 'off' I presume
