Ispreview.co.uk's summary of the Metronet terms is a bit misleading.
Ispreview say that the fair usage cap is 10.4 GB for the £!8.75 per month packsge. Actually, 10.4Gb is the point at which extra bandwith starts to be paid for at 0.15p/MB.
The fair usage policy starts at 23,812MB (referred to as the Usage ceiling), after which Metronet say "You can continue using your service beyond the usage ceiling, but speed restrictions will be applied to some peak-time (4pm – midnight) usage – read the Metronet Broadband Network guide for more information." see http://www.metronet.co.uk/broadband/paygo.shtml
BTW £!8.75 is the most expensive package, the cheapest being £!1.75 per month.
I find it quite good as I can switch packages, depending on my usage, which varies enormously as I'm often away from home for quite long periods.
