Bpi wins p2p court order

I wait for the movie and record companies to ask for agreement from the courts to start searching peoples houses for taped tv progs and radio progs.

Why are blank cds, tapes and dvds sold?

I see that they're going after people who share files on the KaZaA, Imesh, Grokster, Bearshare and WinMX networks. It's interesting that they make no reference to bittorrent. Next on the list I guess?

BPI Website

no that post was regarding bpi going to court to grant them the right to collect filesharers details.

my report is that bpi have been granted the right and have now asked isps for the 28 peoples details, which they have to give in the next 14 days from friday

Surely, the onus will be on the BPI to prove the people uploaded the files - Wont they need to have the files on their pc etc?

they're all a bunch of ***** cause they arent making £100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 every five minutes

I know for a fact there are videos I would never see unless it was for P2P i.e. Cantonese & Japanese.

What I really dislike is the rip off price they charge for downloadable music. £0.70 to £0.80 is really overcharging. A typical shop bought CD might have 18 tracks. You could probably buy it for between £10 & £12 put you can have the privilege of downloading it at your expense for a mere £13.60 and you have to provide the CD & Burner & Jewel case and print your own label and insert. Is not the music industry wonderful charging us a lot extra for providing half the materials for them & doing have the work and we get to pay up to £3.60 extra for this privilege
