Recently joined BT only to find the first router (home hub) was faulty (intermittent fault) spent a considerable time over 45 minutes on the phone to the so called customer technical help centre,...finally... it was decided a replacement was needed. The second one arrives this one will not connect wirelessly to my equipment!!!!! here we go again. As for the customer care centre i had difficulty in understanding their spoken (engleesh?),plus the accents were so broad...but most annoying was the arrogant way in which i was dealt with. :crap::hrmph:

I'd second KDS. Generally the routers included by ISPs are based on budget models with a custom UI built on top to help support the brand. Often it's better to just go out and spend a few quid buying a decent one off the shelf, although admittedly you will need to put the ISPs connection settings in yourself but that's not usually too taxing.

Also wifi connectivity remains a flaky technology so that could be down just as much to your existing kit as BT's and is one of the reasons why I ended up running Cat6 Ethernet cable under my floorboards instead of using the wifi.
