does any one else have major packet loss problems?
i subscribe to a game on hosted in the usa and althouth there have always been the odd few dropped packets here and there it hasnt ever been often enough/great enough to cause major problems.
recently though (the last month or 2) i have experianced major packet errors and ping times of over 2000ms (normal ping time is under 100ms) the effect of this is disconnect or having to suffer a blank screen for anything up to a minute before everthing coming back (usually resulting in my toon face down) i know other members of the gaming comunity are having similar issues on both sides of the pond.
i also am aware that some game companies are saying it's down to bt's hardware in there boston(new york) data center (the far end of the transatlantic link for europe) now if this is the case why have they not fixed/replaced the faulty gear in such a long time?
added to which why is it that when reports are sent to them they dont respond for days (if ever)?
there customer service sucks and i hate trying to speakto someone i cant understand in (i dont speak punjab) god only knows where. Why the heck did they change to overseas call centers?
