BT New Home Essentials Package

With the recent news of BT launching a new Home Essentials package for those people on certain state benefits I gave them a call earlier today.
The chap at BT didn't have a clue what I was talking about and was on another planet.
If this new package isn't up and running yet, fair enough, but for BT to not make their sales employee's aware of this new package when it's been announced to the general public through the media beggars belief.
Ah well back to the drawing board in the search for a fair cost FTTP provider on the Openreach network.

Could be June, Could be July, Could be August! To be eligible you'll need to supply proof of your Universal Credit with customers then receiving confirmation that their application has been successful before they are moved onto the plan. (these will cause big problem! could be delaying further or heard nothing back) and also be warned as BT isp will do hard search will affect your credit reports.
