BT, Phorm 21CN

I have brought this lmg from another forum as I found it funny..

They don't even valuie their shareholders either since they have not told shareholders about phorm , about how it will sit on the network, they must think it is too technical for the shareholders and customers...

It probably is too technical for most people to get their heads around. Try asking a collection of the people you know if they really understand what a GigaByte is and few very will give you the correct answer, though some will often have a rough idea, albeit usually inaccurate. It's an example of how I.T technical knowledge is not well understood and very few would understand the arguments about Phorm.

What worries me most is how the trials were started, after finding out that BT ran two trials using phorm equipment on the network. The trials were completed without any involvment of BT design who design BTs networks and know its workings, they would also understand scripting so presume Phorm's insistance they excluded and BT operate again would understand scripting.. Just how many managers would be able tolook and test scripting and know what the script is requesting? Like BT say to us too technical this could also be said about them.

1. They say they sought legal advie yet never been asked to prove it.
2. They didn't contact ICO till after the two trials.
3. in 2006 phorm was still 121media and still had rootkits being placed stealthily on peoples PC's.
4. Stalking is illegal yet they try to say it is legal to stalk you over the internet using phorm.
5 If top managers at BT took pay cuts instead of pay rises of over £190,000 they wouldn't need to move into pimping customers clicks.

July 16th anyone with a spare hour be at the barbican to help show BT that customers do care this year BT total customers pimped for clicks 2010 could be you?

Have to wait and see many on BT network haven't yet b een asked to trial, also none have ben directed to a page requesting thjem to opt-in opt-out. So looking like it might be Times trying to shjore up phorm shares since they did drop below the magic £10 and the times is in on the OIX platform.

Presumably The Times as an OIX partner site would be told that a trial was due to start so they can put up the OIX adverts (Phormverts?) on their site. I can't see much benefit for the times in spreading a false rumour, although it is possible that the trial they're talking about will be much more limited (they might not want too many people looking for flaws, or forging their own UIDs ) and could be subject to further delays.

We have an interview with Alex going up soon, so keep an eye out for that in the next few days.
