I decided to leave SKY as my Broadband provider and wish I had stayed ..... Bt was supposed to take over the services on the 28th December but failed to tell that the engineer was cancelled and I only discovered when I was checking my account. So got onto live chat which was an experience to say the least as all the person could do was place a new order and told me they would " expedite " my order and have it up & running within two days.
I was also told they phone this morning after requesting my mobile number - received no call , so back onto live chat only to be told that my services wouldn't activated before 10th Jan 2017 !! During both chat session they kept say I would be compensated which seems to be the norm for BT to keep customers quiet.
I'm sure I'm not the 1st and won't be the last person to be disappointed with BT but seriously think twice before moving or joining BT unless your prepared to wait for them to activate your broadband but bear in mind there customer service is very poor and not UK based ......
