BT Wholesale Checker - New Info

It appears the BT wholesale checker is displaying a bit more info than it used to e.g. cabinet number for FTTC -

Hi Bob,

It will only show this new info if your cab has been enabled. Oherwise it just shows the normal offering, ADSL/ADSL2 and possible speeds.

Should say, "It will only show this new info if your cab has been enabled".. or enabled but not yet officially opened up for orders. We have a new FTTC cabinet that was installed outside just before Christmas, although officially the service itself isn't due to be ready until 31st March 2013 like Bob's (not bad.. just a 3 month delay from the original Q4-2012 date).

I'm not sure what it takes to get a cabinet listed. Where I live at the moment(not the image I posted) is due to get FTTC some undefined time in 2013 - FTTC is not listed in the checker table. A cabinet number is given anyway...

That probably means that your particular cabinet either isn't included in the roll-out or, more likely, it hasn't yet been upgraded ahead of the launch.
