I have just moved (up one floor in an apartment block) and have my phone line connected but I received this email from Freedom2Surf:
Your order`s provision is currently delayed due to a BT Wholesale System
Problem. This problem is affecting many ISPs across the UK and BT Wholesale
are working hard to resolve this issue within minimal timescales and appreciate
the concerns that this is causing.
Unfortunately we do not have an estimated resolution date from our wholesaler
at this time, however we will contact you again as soon as we have further
information.
Please also bear in mind that there is no need to contact BT or any other party
regarding this issue. Please make sure any queries are sent to ourselves by
reply to this email or by calling the number below.
We would like to apologise for this delay and any inconvenience
that it has caused.
Does anyone know what these problems are and how long I am going to have to wait? Grr, very annoying
