My question to all members out there?
Is as follows have had any problems with BTHome hub C126. My reason for asking is on wednesday of this I started with BT Total Broadband I received the welcome package and as per the book installed everything setup my laptop thought great back on the net but some 40 minutes later it went pear shape the hub started upgrade it self. :hrmph:
So I rang up BT techno bods twice only to be told it would take all night to upgrade woke up on thursday morning all the lights were on right then I will turn the laptop and finish off what I had been doing.
Well I never got the chance to I had to go out on my return the hub was flashing again phoned BT techno bods [India] told the same again uplug this & that & it will work again nothing happened I told them it was a fault unit they would not agree to this I sent 4 complaint emails to them telling that it was a faulty unit as I had plugged in old D-Link 604t and I can receive the net through that but not the home hub totally u/s.
I had a voice message on my phone from BT to ring yesterday an 0845 no- on it for [45mins] I know that on computeractive web site there are some posting regarding these hubs that upgrade it would seem to be the cause of the problem 6.2.2.6
It would appear that BT are aware of it but has given me and other customers the run around and not forth coming with answer to solve the problem
The said hub is still updating itself now. :nod:
