Hi everyone and please forgive me for my absolute lack of knowledge about this topic. I live in a small apartment in a town in the Wirral. I used to have copper broadband but my previous company (SHELL) would not do copper anymore so I decided to switch to fibre. After the engineers came home and told us the works they had to do in order to install fibre, the landlord was not happy so I had no other option than to cancel the fibre and get a 5G router with Three. The problem is that we only have 4G in the wirral and the signal is not always good and I have an average of 9Mbps speed for usage of simple things like streaming movies and instagram (which I fear it would not be enough). we are 3 people in the household. My question is if would the router work if I plug it to my previous copper connection? If not, how can I make it faster and more efficient? It is already near the outside window....thanks!
