My Dad joined Three mobile broadband a year or so ago on a 24 month contract and whilst initially he had decent internet, over the summer it became unusable for him and he basically ditched it and went back to landline broadband.
I've told him to write to Three and request that they terminate his contract early without fee and request a partial refund for the past few months, as they will be able to see that he has not used the service since then.
My question is, what is the absolute best way to go about this? He doesn't like to use the phone because he's a deaf-stubborn old man and he doesn't like to use the live chat, because "old man".
I've told him I'll template an email for him but I want to make sure I am providing as much information as possible as to why they should termite his contract early without fees.
