Can't connect at all :(

i think this must be localised to my area as i see no-one else posting about it. i can't connect at all, pw rejected. it hits a tone at the other end but authentication always fails.

i would've concluded it was just my account that had been broken/deleted but a friend who lives nearby can't connect to MAAF either using his account!

anyone else having trouble or suggest solutions? almost forgot - i'm dialing 0808 9933097 that right?

Same here - Invalid password apparently for the past 2 days.

No replies to either of my e-mails. I haven't seen any other complaints about this either on the net - spooky eh? I'll give them a call tomorrow and go ballistic at them (do my "Irate Customer" thing at them)

I'll also ask them what new features they are implementing to warrant the price hike on 1/6/02.

Doesn't look like i'll be with the 'fish for much longer.....

i know why now, the dialup number is wrong as they have changed it. the new one is 0808 9933078

i don't have any email telling me of this change i only found out last night :/ but this number does work :)

Yea they told me that 2 after i phoned them i gavem greff for not emailing and not posting it like they used to.
I sentem an email for feed back :
BRING BACK LIVE UPDATES ON SYSTEM STATUS SO WE CAN SEE WHY some times we can't connect.
 
Cheers for the suggestion, guys - it seems to be working. I will be having words with MAAF about this....

I really love the "System Status" page which is some sort of crude joke; assuring me constantly that "System Status is currently fine"

What crap.

It used to have a list of EVERY thing that went wrong in the last month including email probs (which seem to be creaping back).
I loved it when it was like that cos it took the spot light off me, thinking that my comp was up the creak.
 
I sent an e-mail to MAAF earlier this week telling them I wish to cancel my account partly because of the price hike but most of all the inabillity to connect between the hours of 7pm & 10pm. So far no reply!! I think MAAF are really struggling & wouldn't be supprised if they fold REAL soon. I have been with MAAF for several years, even remembering when they had a 4 hour cutoff & were excelent for online gaming but those days are LONG GONE! System status seems to be a static page, my pop mail doesn't work unless it is to tell me that they have taken their subscription money off my account & I think I have had one response to ALL the e-mails I have sent them over the last year.

And just one more small rant

I WANT ADSL IN MY AREA NOW!!!!!!
