Has a factory reset not fixed this?Hi guys I have the ZTE MC888 on three network and was messing around cell locking to get the best signal. Without thinking I’ve cell locked to B32 which appears to have bricked my device. Hoping there’s a hero out there who can help me revive it.
Nope. Just doesn’t boot long enough to even be reset.Has a factory reset not fixed this?
So when it cell locked. It rebooted to make the change. But just never came back on. Taken the sim out, tried factory resetting etc but can’t access the admin page as it will not stay on.How is it bricked? You can't access the admin page to reset the locking or you just don't have internet? A factory reset doesn't fix the problem?
B32 is a "supplemental download link", it doesn't work just by itself. You need a different band (B3, B20, etc) and this provides some download capacity.
Have you tried to use the reset button underneath the unit?Nope. Just doesn’t boot long enough to even be reset.
Sounds like it may be cooked unless someone else has anything to offer here.Just to add further clarity, when it’s plugged in, one light comes on, then it shuts off again with no lights. It is not discoverable. Now I have sniffed the signal in the time from boot to crash. And I get ‘who has’ IP messages and HTML searches. So something has definitely happened a bit more in depth than needing a reset. Question is, can it be done
