Think it's a Samsung (Snapdragon) annoyance SOX, it's fine on my A55 (Exynos) but it was a no show on my S24 too.![]()
Right, I know it works on some Samsung, but not not on all. Could be a thing on Samsung + Snapdragon devices...
@insertfloppydiskhere would likely be the best one who can give you a response to that, could it possibly be an update somewhere that's temporarily caused a mismatch?
Or would it potentially be a modem issue?
For me on O2 when NSA disconnects and reconnects it does temporarily (for about 3-5 seconds) show no bands although it's usually just N78 as I've rarely seen B28 on NSA although it does exist
If it also fails to show bands for me I find that the dBm glitches out temporarily too (some silly number like -2016805229dBm) even though there is signal. It does come back though, my guess is from switching off of NSA to then switch back.
I should probably state this is on the Motorola g34, however it uses snapdragon/Qualcomm.
It never displayed the info (1+ year). If it also didn't work on @The Wee Bear's S24U, then could be just something on Snapdragon + Samsung... they like to make changes to their network stack while other brands don't
