Has anyone happened to figure out a way to lock onto a specific sector/PCI on the Three/EE Zyxel NR5103E? I see it's an option on other Zyxel devices like NR7101.
I finally half solved my 5G connection problem details here with the new router:
And the next part is eliminating a 12m run of coax cable and my plan is to tear it down and post pictures in a new thread ... but now I ran into another issue where the router is connecting to the wrong sector on the mast for just the N3 band. It holds the connection to the weaker PCI 237 instead of connecting to the PCI 1 which is much stronger.
N78 works completely fine now going from unable to connect at all with -126 RSRP on N78 on any X55 based modem to -110 RSRP on N78 and consistent 200 mbps + speeds (when I'm able to get it to connect to B28,B3,B1,N78 specifically) but that's another problem. I can't seem to get it to go onto the above combo without unplugging and plugging in antennas in , in a certain order and I haven't found a method to replicate.
Band selection alone doesn't work and it stays in LTE-A. Only way it seems to go into 5G mode is with auto 4G/5G NSA mode. But then it's B28,B1,N3,N78 which in theory is exactly what I want but it's connecting to the wrong N3 sector. I'll attach pictures below.
Weak N3 cell connection:
What it should be when it connects for split second:
The combination that actually works really well now even with 12 meters of cable (16km away from cell tower)

Putting internal PCB of Zyxel NR5103 in Poynting EPNT-2?
Hello , I was wondering , does anyone know if it would it be possible to put the ZyxelNR5103 internal PCB and hook it up to the EPNT-2 from poynting? And what stuff I would need to do it? Would eliminate my cable loss issue as I have a 12 meter run at the minute and losing quite a bit of signal...
