Our contract with NowTV has now ended and we are looking at at changing provider, we aren’t due FTTP until December, has anyone had any experience with taking an FTTC contract with BT and then getting it upgraded to FTTP when it’s available?
Generally, if you sign-up to an ISP on FTTC and then want to upgrade to FTTP after a few months with the same provider then they usually don't have a problem with that. Not sure about BT specifically but I can't see any reason to object as you're basically paying more and agreeing to stick with them for longer.
Openreach works on behalf of communications providers to build and maintain the UK’s digital network. To get Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband contact a communications provider below to find out what services they can offer.

Or they may object to you leaving before end of contract as a new FTTP contract would not be with them.
Awesome thanks for all your answers I think because BT sells FTTP we are going to go with them so that we should just be able to upgrade when the time comes I also messaged BT and they confirmed this was possible
