If you need anymore just say. :)

I've used Ebuyer quite a lot they are very cheap but a word of caution.
They do seem to have more than their fair share of faulty goods I've sent back quite a few items my self, I have had the postage paid on a few.

But the biggest problem is they only let you have a refund or credit note on faulty goods for the first 30 days my brother purchased a quite cheap 40x CD writer too good to miss really something like £30, but he's had to return two already for being faulty.
I told him not to waste his time and just get the plextor instead, but Ebuyer won't give him a credit note or his money back to get the plextor because after going through the other two writers he's now out of the 30 day window, so he's stuck in this merry go round of dodgy CD writers :(

I've used redstore, dabs and staktrading with no problem and Tekheads are quite local for me so I pop in there quite a bit. :)

some blokes in a white van did try to sell me some speakers a few days ago... em dabs.com is where I get all my hardware.

Buying cheap isn't always "cheap". It can often cost you more in the long run, because a lot of cheaper parts are harder to get decent support (drivers etc) on, and might not last as long as you think before needing to upgrade again. It might pay to save a bit longer then buy better components instead.

One thing is certain though, don't skimp on the motherboard, everything else depends on it for performance.

If you really want a good cheap board, the ECS K7S5A is a good place to start. It has 2x SDRAM & 2x DDRAM slots, so you don't have to use more expensive DDR, but have the option to upgrtade without needing a new board later. This board also supports the XP2600+ (so far), and the best bit is that it costs under £50

I've spent almost £10k with Ebuyer this year, and only had to return 2 items. They're no worse than other companies as far as returns go.
