Oh right, I forgot about that, my Pixel doesn't do that but all other phone models doI installed Firsty and all networks come up as Firsty when in manual selection mode! It does show KPN NL though.

I do too so its important that the consuming device with your main number has a reliable VoLTE and WIFI Calling provider. That's why I prefer to use a tethered phone/router or MIFI to provide a resilient WIFI to the van. Thanks for your reply.
I should probably have been clearer and specified that I would like to be able to make calls as well, it is not only data which is important.
Some of the roaming solutions will probably make it seem like you're connecting to WiFi calling from abroad, which I think most networks do not allow.I do too so its important that the consuming device with your main number has a reliable VoLTE and WIFI Calling provider. My primary number (iPhone) SIM happens to be on EE and appears happy on WIFI calling most of the time. But agree that it needs to be tested on the various data SIM combinations being discussed.
You'll generally be fine, I think there's a few checks to see whether it's from abroad? I used a VPN hotspot from my PC a while back and O2 WiFi calling worked fine. Some of the roaming solutions will probably make it seem like you're connecting to WiFi calling from abroad, which I think most networks do not allow.
Edit: Your van comment made me realise that generally speaking, I'll be out in the car when I encounter a place without signal. I should probably take this into account.
