I've recently moved to a 5 year old estate in a city which Cityfibre (among others) have been upgrading.
Currently the best speed I can get is 10mbps/1mbps which is really frustrating for my home working job. 4G is better bandwidth but poor ping and less stable.
I've looked on Cityfibres website and they say because it's a private road they need permission from the management company.
Unfortunately it's been very hard to progress this because the management company for the estate isn't interested in having the roads dug up.
Has anyone had experience on getting fibre installed on a "private" estate? I'm not even sure if CityFibre would do the work for free like the surrounding roads, or if they would be requesting the residents to pay?
