Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 blocked on Three

Another alternative is Technitium DNS Server (free and open source) if you can self-host it somewhere. Easy to setup to communicate with the root servers instead of going through a recursive resolver such as Cloudflare or Google DNS.

I am happy enough with the current setup, just fed up with Three intercepting and interfering with my perfectly legal traffic! They have "fixed" it now (well it works, nothing in logs for past day or so) Three haven't, at any point, admitted what they were doing or apologized for it!
Again much like the Phorn trials that were publicly denied but proved to be the case by customers of the ISP's involved reporting their findings and gathering evidence.

Just tried going to Cloudflare IP - 1.1.1.1 and getting blocked displaying the following page:

What the 'ell is going on at Three these days?!?

They are effectively blocking the DoH DNS configuration I have set up on my router!
Do you have content filtering turned on (it's default on) - as that wouldn't surprise me at all as you'd by bypassing the filter (yes, I'm well aware there are many ways to do so)

No, I removed content filtering on my account pretty much at the start via a credit card. I also got them to confirm there are no restrictions on my account as well.

I'm a grown adult and if I don't like something I don't watch it, read it or ignore it. The powers that be can be red, blue, green, orange, purple or pink etc, they all as bad as each other! As soon as they get voted in, they will do whatever it is they want, even if that goes against the grain of everyone who voted them in!

I just believe that Net Neutrality should be observed and that people can read about whatever subject they want (unless it's illegal) without state censorship telling me what is bad and what is good. The Labour Government swore blind that there were WMD and look what can of worm that opened. The Tory's swore blind there was no parties. So I like to read all points of view and make up my own mind.

By the way, /iwf/ probably refers to "Internet Watch Foundation" - the people who keep lists of sites hosting kiddie porn.

If a site found its way onto this list which is hosted on Cloudflare, Three may have been wrongly blocking the whole of Cloudflare. If so, it took them a while to realise this.

Yes, I agree with you 100%.

My issue is what Three were doing. They were inspecting the data packets between my computer and 1.1.1.1 and then modified the returned data packet to insert a redirection to https://www.three.co.uk/static/html/iwf/block.html under the disguise of internet safety. They are also interfering with the SSL handshake to render rt.com inaccessible. What else are they doing?

The evidence I have seen would indicate to me that Three are one of the unnamed ISP part taking in this trial - https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.p...-isps-trial-new-internet-snooping-system.html I guess only time will tell!

Just like phorn was building up advertising profiles (plans were to sell this data and pay the ISP to use their product) and inserting custom adverts (and possibility anything else that could be performed by a man in the middle attack) into customer traffic under the disguise of "checking for malware".

Three are messing with my https traffic again!
