Hi all,
I have moved to CommunityFibre and have a Google WiFi mesh setup. I have full speed upload (150mbps) but limited download (85 to 90 mbps).
I've spoken to Google and to CommunityFibre but only received very limited assistance that hasn't helped.
Can you help me resolve this? It's been this way for four months and I'm really hoping I can get the full speed soon.
Note: A wired connection to the CommunityFibre AdTran box is full speed, so there's something between the wifi and the AdTran boxes that isn't happy.
Additional info:
I've used this Google Wifi setup for years and never seen anything like this until I swapped to CF - at which point the speed was immediate and has been constant since. There's no abnormal fluctuation in the speeds (download or upload). I've also worked with Google support to identify anything from the Google side that could be affecting the issue.
If I plug an ethernet cable into my Google WiFi unit and speed test on my laptop, the speed results are exactly the same as they are on the WiFi.
Thanks!
