This is open to all to vote their opinions on the news posted over on PCpro 12th Feb.

This news has some names we have heard a lot about recently some moving to be none voting executive board members of companies we would rather not be around. Names like Kip Meek, then there are those who are ex-employees of BT workig with them for over 25yrs. Tis is fast becoming jobs for the boys forget the reason OFCOM was invented.

Conflict of interest occurs in OFCOM, also the governments advisory commitee for future broadband read the whole story please before you decide on your vote.

There needs to be a mix of people from all sides of the debate with a true independent chairman. Anyone with shares etc in companys involved should probably have to surender them.

Not having experts in my experiance (ok nothing big as this) is usually a disaster, however the other way round also causes problems.

Agreed, putting somebody in charge who has a clear history of supporting one particular kind of view is obviously only going to end in a predictable reoccurrence of that opinion. The man in charge has to be impartial and independent. Sadly it's too late now and we all know what the outcome will be.
