Congestion charge scam

Two councils, Trafford and Stockpot, voted against the bid, while the other eight all voted in support.

A bunch of unaccountable councilors voting for something which could affect many peoples livelihoods, how shocking

Entering the outer cordon would cost £2, with a further levy of £1 to get into the centre. An extra £1 would be charged to leave each of the zones.

Drivers will pay a deposit for an electronic tag, which will monitor journeys on 15 main routes into the city in the busy morning and evening periods.

What a disgrace those charges are. Why dont they they just go up to the drivers and put a gun in the window and demand the money! This is going to affect alot of average folk just driving to and from work to earn a wage.

"We have received a large volume of valuable feedback from the local business community and Greater Manchester residents, which we will now use to help shape the detailed nature of our full strategy."

A good slice off that feedback telling Roger and his cronies to get bent.

dont we pay enough road tax as it is....

WTF!!

So you pay £2 to enter the outer zone, and a further £1 to enter the inner zone, but you pay an extra £1 to leave each zone on your return journey. Now how does charging people to leave a congestion charging zone reduce congestion?
