Been seeing this the last couple of evening's. Looks like congestion to me..

Anyone else? Starts around 8 and gone just after 10.

Thanks

I can't say much, but I've noticed on my end, whenever I'm doing a fairly large download of an update or install, it will happen (of course, this is Sky/OR) returns to normal afterwards.

(and yes, this was whilst downloading/updating a game on Steam)

Well I think it more so at YF. At the time of it my wan latency increases from it's normal range and my pfsense gateway monitor is monitoring a different address...

Its a bit odd there is a sudden few posts about youfibre the last few days.

Hopefully all is well at the provider.

Yeah I saw a post on reddit lots of outage and a few tbb charts. The latency issue looked just like mine from a few days ago

It's been on/off the previous few evenings but not last night. It has been between 8 and 10pm when it does occur...

Still here... latency gone from 7.5ms to currently 20.9ms... View attachment 20925
I noticed something similar via Sky's last night. But not to the same extent.

For example

(between 8pm and 10pm) the green (minimum latency) line is almost always stable but for some reason right there, it moved a little bit. We did just have an electrician visit for the annual review yesterday in the morning though although I doubt that has anything to do with it, as it's not the first time it's moved suddenly. And almost always around that same 8-10 window.

Hopefully YF/Netomnia fix that 🙁

I sent an mtr to a friend at YF. The latency is there at the first hop so I'm hoping they will investigate it. Waiting for feedback.its never been an issue historically.

Frome, Somerset. I didn't really get anywhere. I'm told the exchange has capacity yet it's happening most evenings, sometimes worse, sometimes much less...
The point I made was as the focus was on tbb but it's not that as my latency via the default gateway monitoring I am using on pfsense will increase from around 7.5ms ( normal operation) up to as seen the other evening 20ms.......
🤷‍♂️
