I pray for a wide rollout of the lower band spectrum, indoor coverage needs it desperately on EE to overcome congested/useless band 20.
well SA is on n28/n3/n7/n78 at least, where available (15+ cities?), which, when people upgrade their plans (and phones?), the n28 should take some load away from B20I pray for a wide rollout of the lower band spectrum, indoor coverage needs it desperately on EE to overcome congested/useless band 20.
I've just moved to EE from O2, I can't deal with O2 anymore. I'm travelling around more these days and I'd rather pay more a month for data that works.well SA is on n28/n3/n7/n78 at least, where available (15+ cities?), which, when people upgrade their plans (and phones?), the n28 should take some load away from B20

I previously moved away from EE due to weak signal at home. Now it is rolled out, even NSA band 28 is helping here. The local mast will still connect to weak band 3 and band 20 but speeds are now boosted to around 50Mb down. Previously it was less than 1Mb.
Upload still falls short at 1Mb but it's progress. The signal is now usable which previously it wasn't.
I tried to connect to SA by forcing, it connected for around 5s then booted me off. I guess it's not quite ready here.
I'm really hoping EE get another 5mhz of 800 if the merger goes through. It'll transform their network and I have every faith they'll widen it as quickly as they possibly can.
It's supposed to be. The guy I know at EE confirmed it was coming, if not active alreadyThink VoNR does appear to be active on EE SA
Yeah, in theory, depending on configuration. Though with the frequencies being so close there's not much difference in coverage/penetration.
Calls made over 5G SA can use VoNR and not need to fall back to a 4G carrier to complete as they would with 5G NSA and no VoNR
That's not that dissimilar to what I get on Vodafone 5G SA. Although EE's ping is definitely better!5G SA...

So far EE SA is seeming like a big disappointment with little improvement over regular NSA.
Sounds just like Vodafone and O2's SA JimmyBand28, except a lot more expensive. So far EE SA is seeming like a big disappointment with little improvement over regular NSA.
