Hi
We are currently on a Sky package that contains the TV/Broadband/Phone. The Broadband service is the 'Up to 10MB' package and I currently get download speeds of 520KB/s maximum. Now we only live about 1 mile from the exchange (according to Google Maps we live 0.9mi away from the exchange).
I want to be getting at least 1-2MB download speeds to be honest and I'm hoping that moving to the Be Unlimited package will solve this problem. Do you think moving to Be will be get me any better download speeds?
We are cancelling the Sky package as whole and moving the phone line back to BT aswell and so I am in the process of looking for a new ISP with Be looking to be the best that we can get where we live.
I think the cabling on the estate where we live is the old copper wire, I don't know if this has any effect on the speed but I assume it does.
Thanks for your help.
