Coop broadband

Hi.

I've been with co-op broadband now for quite a while, when I took it out it was just one service and a FUP of 45GB a month or something, I've noticed thats all changed now, as has my internet speed on peak hours, esp my pings.

I cant even get on the cod game servers now I just get "for low pingers only"

Am I able to get out of the contract as I am not getting the service I did when I signed up?

Has anyone else noticed a drop in internet service lately?

cheers for any replies,
Aaron

The first thing you should do is take this up with your ISP and then make a complaint to them if they appear to show no interest in helping. We offer a lot of advice on complaints here: http://www.ispreview.co.uk/new/complain/complain.shtml .

I notice you mention that the package you took came with a 45GB cap but that this has now changed? If you are still within the original contract and they have not sent you notice of a change to the package then you should still be on whatever you signed up for, otherwise they are in breach of said contract.

In all probability your gaming problems are being caused by their Traffic Management policy but customer support might be able to help if you raise that with them.
