Could anyone help with locating the 3 mast i'm connected to?

As above,

I've been with Three the past 3 years for MBB. Using a B535, i'm getting speeds approx 45mb during day, which drop to 18ish at night. Not brilliant, but better than the 0.5mb BT offer in rural NI and it's only £14/month on a deal. Fine for my family and fine for all the streaming we do.

I'm trying to maximise my connection to 3, but have no idea of the location of the mast to which i'm connected - i'd probably need this to go for a directional antenna. I can see from the B535's info that i'm connected to Cell_ID 3624449 (router says i'm on 4G+), which when converted to Hex via Cellmapper gives me 374e01.

I've tried using the tower search via cell mapper but returns no results for either (all i get is an error - "cannot search this field").

Would anyone have any richer data points or offer some guidance?

Thanks in advance

eNB ID (hex)374e

Sector ID (hex)01

This seems to be the info for that cell, I usually found it by the eNB ID number

Yeah, ENB ID of 14158, tells me to "click on a tower above to centre on it".
However, the only towers identified in the area are about 10/12 miles away - and these def aren't it as both have different ENB Ids on the map and anyways are obscured by mountains.

Still at a loss!

We're very rural so maybe hasn't been mapped?

Yea, your probably right, you may need to map it yourself by putting the SIM in a phone and driving around, that's how I ended up finding mine. What part on NI are you in?

Thanks Twocats. Great idea.

What app do you recommend for the driving/searching? OpenSignal?

We're located in the Sperrins - Between Draperstown and Cookstown direction.

I just registered with cellmapper.net and used that on my phone. Most of the Three points in NI are probably me !!
Once you have uploaded the data it usually takes a day to see on the map.

I found walking right round the outside of my house first, tight to the walls, would give a good indication, looking at the signal strength, which direction to start.
