Hi, I haven't registered but will, when I get the time, call me sunny for now.
OK this is convoluted but bear with me. I am currently on Orange anytime dial-up, they notified me that they are changing to broadband and will automatically change me unless i tell them no. I checked their prices and told them no. I had received a letter at the same time as Orange's from my telephone line provider TalkTalk offering me a better price. However upon looking into it and putting in my postcode to check the site told me I was not in a broadband area and so the service they would provide would be even dearer than Orange's. This puzzled me as i used to have broadband with Bt who I left for 2 reasons, my budget had been cut somewhat and their customer service was abominable and ended up costing me money and lost data. Hence the switch of phone line provider to talktalk. I have been researching dial-up ISPs with reasonable costs for unmetered dial-up AND good or at least reasonable customer service - and not directly linked to BT with whom I will be unlikely to ever return in this lifetime . The fast4net seems to have poor reviews and so I looked at Zaggle but from reading the chat here via the link in the forum thread I am now even more confused. I need to switch before the 22nd Nov - yes I know that's cutting it close. So please help! Can any of you recomend Zaggle or should I keep looking? Is there someone you would recommend? It needs to be unmetered and dial-up not broadband at least for the time being and with few complaints - for their sake as well as mine they don't want me phoning up to complain in the middle of one of my PMS irritability & low tolerance attacks! Yeah the nickname is a bit ironic at that time but I'm sweet really - honest!
