We have just been switched over to Zen’s Digital voice today.
We have a BT TrueCall answerphone
BT Advanced Cordless Home Phone with 100 Percent Nuisance Call Blocking and Answering Machine, Twin Handset Pack https://amzn.eu/d/dVfeawz
This allows unknown callers to be announced, so we can decide whether to take the call or not.
We seem to have an issue with the answerphone. When a caller leaves a message and hangs up, the answerphone continues to record a series of (really annoying) beeps after the caller has hung up.
I understand that this may be because the supplied German AVM router does not use the same communication system as the UK BT based system so the digital voice system doesn’t know the caller has hung up.

Do any of the experts on here have anything to add that might help get our answerphone working properly again?
