When broadband first hit my streets (literally by the noise they made...
) I got my connection set up and, actually paid for my own modem (Terayon TereJet) and bought it outright.
I hear NTL doesn't allow that anymore
I save £5 every month on any broadband package going upto 2Mbs speed... (£20 - 600Kb or £30 - 1Mb)
Is everyone now consigned to the "rental" concept?
Thanks.
