do bt set their home hub to reboot every so often i.e every day

hi
been with bt fibre 2 for about a month and all the home hub does is keeps disconnecting about same time every day its so annoying they cant say I over use it because im at work and use it probably couple of hours a day

seriously thinking of going else where

Do you have just the home hub or a home hub and an openreach modem?

Do you know that the home hub is rebooting rather than just the broadband dropping? (Does the home hub show system uptime anywhere?)
Which home hub is it? I was using a 5B for a long time and it was pretty flawless stability wise.

I had this problem with a HH3 on an ADSL line.
They sent me half a dozen power cables till they replaced the router.
Good luck with customer support

I recall there being a reboot bug with the 5A, which BT claims to have fixed but others suggest still occur.

However the fact that it occurs at the same time each day seems rather odd, assuming that it is actually the routers fault (as per drsox's post). A solid pattern suggests that something else might be the cause, but we can only guess. In any case it shouldn't reboot of its own accord.

I've been on BT infinity 1 unlimited + BT TV for the last 3 months (took up the £15 a month deal with £315 of cashback & vouchers).

Just checked the log on my bt hh 5a, it has been rebooting every 14 days around 5 am, give or take an hour since the last firmware update to 4.7.5.1.83.8.204 in mid Feb.

My hh5a is now on day 78 without a reboot or disconnect. Rock solid on a fttc line, so I think either yours is faulty or you have a fault somewhere.

hi ive just taken a log report from my home hub 5
