Do you have problems with your signal on giffgaff or no signal How would 4G VoLTE calling and WiFi calling on giffgaff help you do you feel completely isolated

Giff Gaff coverage is fine, as usual, this week I have been In Norfolk, Nottinghamshire and am now In Portsmouth, no issues whatsoever 👍

I'm sorry that you are feeling isolated, but if your mobile signal is that much of an issue, then as lots of people have mentioned in previous threads the option to switch networks is always there.

I don't feel isolated with my signal but there is other people who are but I want to find out if there's any more people who are going through similar

Their data is reeeaaally slow, but calls work.

VoLTE is nice to have, but I can make calls without it.

WiFi calling is only needed if the coverage is bad. Nice to have too, but the places where I have WiFi also have basic cell coverage for calls/texts.

(I use both though as my provider supports it.)

No, but I also don't try to use something that clearly doesn't work for me.

The way I see it, if you don't have good O2 coverage, then you shouldn't use O2's network. If you need VoLTE and WiFi calling, then you shouldn't even consider GiffGaff as they don't offer either.

We have 3 other networks and it's likely that at least one of them offer good coverage in your area. Their virtual networks also offer VoLTE and WiFi Calling:

- Three: Smarty, ID Mobile, etc.
- EE: 1p Mobile (and soon Lyca?).
- Vodafone: Voxi, Lebara.

For me, EE and Three are better than O2 and Vodafone, so I have a Smarty and 1p Mobile SIM. If they stop working as I expect them to, I try something else. It's just a mobile provider, we can't be too attached to them.

Can I ask you a question @Kane? Is there any reason why you must use GiffGaff? Why not try a different network?

@Kane never responds to these posts or questions - he will just come back in a few days with another moan or YouTube video about Giffgaff's signal or service. He's very much a one-way, no-replies type of poster.

Given that he spams these videos and doesn't engage in much meaningful conversation, he's best put on ignore, which I've done. My final view on the subject is that it's a free market, Giffgaff is a private company and not a public utility, they don't "need" to do anything. Kane is, in turn, free to take his business elsewhere. I'm baffled why he doesn't, but that's also his choice. I just wish the endless complaining would cease.

Sorry if I haven't replied to your questions I've been quite busy over the last couple of days I do the very best that I manage my time between the two trying to respond to your question and for all those people who want to know how I'm getting on with my network search I'm still waiting on three and Vodafone's decision bearing in mind I hope they keep voxi so I really really want to apologize even though their customer service needs improving all I am trying to do is help people who are on giffgaff who are isolated without coverage and a lot of people think that I am isolated but I am not and that's why I set up this page

Sorry you feel this way, maybe change networks as others have said? voxi might be a good alternative they run on the vodafone network and offer 4g calling and wifi calling.
