imho no.. not too fond of needles myself strange as it may sound l love tattoos tho and have 6 l find tho when in the process its fine and painless its just the leading up to it that can be problematic, on a side note tho your veins cant be as hard to find as mine... l ended up been a pin cushion for the cute female doctor last blood test l was the last patient and well we ended up having a coffee and her admiring my tattoos (while you may think it strange l knew her previously just had not chat in a long while been prolly 5 years )
Blood tests are more a physiological annoyance than anything else, quite why they have to take such a large amount I don't know, but it's really nothing to worry about in the pain department.
Dentists, having your arms severed in a car accident, being shot - twice, burnt alive, drowning, ripped into little pieces by H.R.G's Alien, forced to watch 'Dancing on Ice' by your girlfriend or tortured by the Taliban are of more concern. It's hard to know which of the last two I'd prefer .
I've had plenty of blood tests. The nurse or phlebotomist or whatever they call them is well aware that people are often a little apprehensive, so no need to feel self-conscious about it. I just turn my head away and think of England and it's all over in a minute. I don't see anything and it doesn't hurt at all.
I have to get blood tests on a regular basis and was a bit squeamish at first. The worst thing about it these days is the waiting room, take a good read with you just in case.
Tell the vamp that your nervous, though it might be obvious, look away and think of naked bodies (of your choice), chocolate cakes, pen tops, whatever turns you on. Or keep talking, it kind of takes some of your mind from what is actually going on.
If the vamp is good, and they usually have lots of practice so they are, it won't take more than ten or twenty seconds tops. If the vamp is very good you won't feel a thing and you'll be out of there and wondering what the fuss was about.
Don`t forget to take something heavy with you ,when you have it done .Afterwards your arm will keep reaching for the sky because it is empty and so light. Hold the heavy object in that hand and you will be OK .
